Presentation quality
Glossy surfaces, clear films, flexible bottles and artwork orientation can make small placement variation more noticeable.
Use the final label and liner to test sensor detection, peeling, bubbles and edge adhesion. Printed or varnished areas can change both appearance and sensing.
Filled samples show whether a bottle deforms under guides or wrap pressure. Check the label panel at several heights to identify taper before artwork is finalised.
Define whether a principal panel must face a cap, pump, seam or moulding feature. A standard wrap cycle does not automatically orient an unregistered container.
Agree an inspection method for label height, skew, seam position, bubbles, wrinkles and edge lift. Photograph a consecutive sample set under lighting that reveals clear-film defects rather than selecting only the best container. Where a code is printed onto the label, confirm contrast and adhesion on the actual material.
Use a semi-automatic labeller for short batches and frequent manual changes, a compact automatic labeller for regular production in a smaller footprint, or an automatic labeller for a conveyor line. Flat or oval packs with separate panels belong with front and back labelling.
